Dr. Sarah Wooten will discuss examples of cyberbullying of animal welfare agencies.

According to a recent American Veterinary Medical Association release, 20% of AVMA members report experiencing cyberbullying and false reviews online. This session will help prepare you for cyberbullying situations and offer tips for handling negative online reviews. Dr. Wooten is a 2002 graduate of UC-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and has 16 years of private practice experience.

For those dedicated to helping the most vulnerable, being labeled the villain can be an especially painful shock. This candid discussion will explore healing and hope for holding your ground in the wake of online attacks and criticism. 

Wilde has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and 20 years of experience in direct services, training, and management. As a certified compassion fatigue educator, she combines insights from her work in both interpersonal violence and animal welfare with the latest research on stress and resilience.
